
S. Scott Ethersmith is a San Francisco based writer, adventurer, and designer. Ethersmith is currently writing the forthcoming memoir, The Giving Thief, about a decade spent deep in the throngs of Urban Exploration.
The name Ethersmith has been Scott's artistic moniker since the early 1990s. In 2008 he took the name officially. It is a name he created to embody the concept of forging creation from the ethers, as well as a title and surname for those who do creative work in the many mediums available in our current society. In essence, it means modern artist.
Ethersmith is the author of Duplicious, which is a blog dedicated to chronicling culture, ideas, and the many strange things that happen to him.
Ethersmith's skills include writing, clothing design, advantage gambling, and carpentry. Ethersmith's hobbies include fire-spinning, train hopping, electronics, sculpture,and motorcycling.
Ethersmith is happily married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and divides his time between her, his amazing writer's group The Non-Fiction Novelists, and his two cats.
